About the Showcase:
- All students must be at the school by 11:30AM
for a final run through and preparation.
- Please make sure your uniform is clean and pressed and that
you have the logo and flag attached properly.
- Parents, family, and spectators that purchased their tickets
in advance will be allowed into the auditorium at 12:15PM.
Until that time you may wait in the foyer. Only the performers
and assistants will be allowed in the auditorium and side hall
before that time. Ticket sales will begin at 12:30PM for those
who wish to purchase tickets at that time.
- Concessions: In the morning there will be
coffee and donuts, and for intermission there will be juice,
soda, water, and snack items. Please remember that there is
no food or drink allowed in the auditorium.
- It is mandatory that all students stay and participate in
the Grand Finale at the end of the Showcase. Be sure to plan
for this. We have the Showcase for the students, and we work
hard to make it exciting and fun for them, so they should be
there to take the final bow.

All students must audition with music
and be approved to be able to perform.

the Showcase all students must be in the school at 11:30am

Rehearsal schedule
To make
sure everyone has an opportunity to get a feel for the stage
and the all around set-up, we have a dress rehearsal the night
before the show.
We
plan this the night before so the format will be fresh in everyone's
mind for the next day. It is mandatory for everyone performing
and volunteering to be there. We have orientations and meetings
to discuss information along with placement for everyone involved.
We
also give performers a chance for placement on the stage for
all, and most performers will try their moves to their music.
This is especially beneficial for partners and larger groups
FULL
UNIFORMS ARE REQUIRED.
It is very important
that all performers wear full uniforms to the dress rehearsal.
This way we are assured all students will be prepared and
have everything needed for the show. Again, this will really
help for partners.
FULL UNIFORMS CONSIST
OF:
Gi Top and Pants, logo and flag patches,
Belt, Clean Sneakers (they do not have to be karate
sneakers), if you wear karate sneaks, the bottoms must be cleaned
before wearing them again in the studio. Boots are not allowed
on the stage.
Uniforms should be clean and pressed. The rehearsal
will run from approximately 5-8PM (see your instructor for
your specific times).
IMPORTANT SHOW DAY NOTICE
We plan and the performers practice very
hard for months to make this an awesome family event.
We ask that out of respect fro all performers,
everyone arrives on time or early, everyone stays for the entire
show and all performers try their best to prepare, especially
if you have partners.
Family Participation:
Please plan for this day in your schedules,
when you see the show you will understand how important it
is for everyone to be there until the final curtain (the
entire show).
**These are only a few highlights of our showcase
information packet. If you haven't received a copy yet please
see your instructor he/she will be happy to get you a copy.**
Questions?: If you have any
questions about anything please contact your instructor right
away. They are trained to help you prepare or give you the information
you might need. No question is too small or too big.
